UK Bill of Rights Government Consultation Document

This Government seeks to persuade the electorate that we need a UK Bill of Rights. The Government know full well that we already have a Bill of Rights 1689 but seeks to broaden it by incorporating into it 'rights' which twist the spirit of the original Bill. Below is, I hope, helpful information regarding the history for the various Acts that have come about in modern times.

European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)

Historical context

The Convention was drafted by the Council of Europe after World War II. Sir David Maxwell-Fyfe was the Chair of the Committee on Legal and Administrative Questions of the Council's Consultative Assembly from 1949 to 1952, and oversaw the drafting of the ECHR. It was designed to incorporate a traditional civil liberties approach to securing "effective political democracy", from the strong traditions of freedom and liberty in the United Kingdom. As a founding member of the Council of Europe, the UK acceded to the ECHR in March 1951.

The primary function of the ECHR was to curb the excesses demonstrated by the dictatorships that ravaged Europe from Napoleon to Hitler. When Churchill signed the Convention of behalf of the UK it was with the knowledge that we were already upholding these 'Rights' (see above in red) and through our own Bill of Rights 1689. It would have been a case of ?If the cap fits then wear it!?

However it was not until Harold Wilson's government in the 1960s that British citizens were able to bring claims to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). During the 1980s, it was widely perceived that the executive misused its power and that, with movements like Charter 88 (which invoked the 300th anniversary of the Glorious Revolution in 1688 and the Bill of Rights 1689) a British Bill of Rights was needed to secure a ?human rights? culture at home.

The Government ignored the fact that our Bill of Rights 1689 more than covered the excesses of the 'executive' and there was no need to appeal to the ECtHR or any other foreign court. This was a total failure to apply our own laws to ourselves! However there was an spurious agenda behind it!

The Labour government incorporated the European Convention on Human Rights into law through the Human Rights Act 1998. The 1997 white paper "Rights Brought Home"[2] stated:

'It takes on average five years to get an action into the European Court of Human Rights once all domestic remedies have been exhausted; and it costs an average of ?30,000. Bringing these rights home will mean that the British people will be able to argue for their rights in the British courts ? without this inordinate delay and cost.'

This was nothing more than an act of treason by the Blair Government in using supposed financial savings to prop up the use of our own courts instead of a foreign court but applying a foreign court's laws! We had no need of any foreign courts in the first place since we had our own effective law already in place.

The upshot of this treasonous Act was to allow our system of justice to be wrecked by greedy lawyers and traitorous politicians in using Section 6 of this Act. The lawyers used it to make money and the politicians to grab power and to de-stable British society. Below is a list of the 'rights' taken from the Act. Everyone of these 'rights' can be used to help a criminal and used against a victim. By this I mean that, a victim's rights are trumped by the criminal's rights. We have seen just what this can do regarding the prevention of deporting foreign criminals because of their families and injustice to their victims. I have made additional ?sarcastic? comments in red.

Section 6 Human Rights Act 1998

The Convention guarantees the following rights and freedoms:

1The right to life except for a victim of murder.

2The right to freedom from torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or

punishment unlike the elderly who live in care homes and ex-soldiers etc.

3The right to freedom from slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory

labour especially in HM prisons.

4The right to liberty and security of person especially criminals on bail.

5The right to a fair and public trial within a reasonable time except for black racists.

6The right to freedom from retrospective criminal law and no punishment

without law unless you are a motorist or fall foul of the illegal double-jeopardy rule.

7The right to respect for private and family life, home and correspondence which only applies to violent foreign criminals.

8The right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion except if you are a Christian and a patriot.

9The right to freedom of expression same as the point above.

10The right to freedom of assembly and association unless you are a member of Nationalist group or Christian.

11The right to marry and found a family especially if stops a criminal being deported.

12The prohibition of discrimination in the enjoyment of the convention rights especially if you are a homosexual or an atheist but does not apply to Christians.

13The right to access to education especially at the expense of Christian white Anglo-Saxon children.

14The right to free elections especially if you are a Muslim and want Sharia law introduced.

15The right not to be subjected to the death penalty especially if you are a British MP who has committed treason or just a humble serial killer.

All of the above 'rights' are covered by our 1698 Bill of Rights and the only reason for changing them is to subject the UK to the insanity of the EU and ruin our society.
