At today's Turkey-EU summit in Istanbul (Constantinople), the Turks displayed a new Turkey-EU flag. 


As you can see, they have turned the EU flag into an Islamic crescent.  This symbolism was done deliberately, and it clearly indicates Turkey's long-term goal.
