Banning membership of secret groups
« on: July 19, 2014, 11:26:20 AM »
Over the years there have been numerous high profile cases where our Police service has been involved in either stifling investigations in to serious crimes or actively working to undermine ongoing investigations so as to protect alleged criminals.

The Stephen Lawrence case and The Hillsborough disaster are just two.

Successive governments have tried and failed to get High Court Judges to declare their membership to Freemasonry.

Given recent highly publicised events involving the disappearance of dossiers containing information on establishment paedophile rings, the BBC protecting the likes of Savile and Harris and former special branch officers now asking for immunity in any criminal enquiries in to organised establishment paedophile rings, It is time the government banned all serving Police Officers of any rank from joining or being affiliated to any secret club, group or society that is not open for any member of the Public to join or does not have a published list of members.

There can be no reason why our serving Police Officers are permitted to join any secret organisation. This must stop if we are to protect our society with an effective Police Service.
