Subject: FW: UKIP Surrey - first again with the news!

This, combined with the pressure upon India from Saudi Arabia & Qatar to abandon cash and 'go digital' (the 'high value rupee' notes already ceased) and to spread Islamic 'Sharia Banking' around the world, (remember the fool David Cameron welcoming it to Britain?!  That has resulted in our 'government' working under 'Sharia law' for the next 6 years!!!) and should give everyone cause for concern.

Article 50 is a trap, designed to prevent us leaving the EU'

Gerard Batten MEP

The outrageous verdict by the High Court was entirely predictable – they are part of the establishment that does not want Britain to leave the EU, and they are going to do everything they can to delay and impede it.
But we must not get hung up on Article 50.  I have written extensively on this subject and I will not repeat it all again here, but we must not accept the EU’s methodology for leaving the EU – we should do it according to our own constitution and law and just repeal the European Communities (Act 1972).
Article 50 is a trap that was designed to delay and prevent leaving the EU, not to facilitate it. We must not allow ourselves to be lured into barking up the wrong tree.
First of all, if Theresa May was genuine about implementing the decision of the Referendum she should have written the note to the European Council triggering Article 50 the day after she became PM. Instead she announced she would wait nine months until March 2017 before doing anything.  That allowed Brexit’s enemies to regroup and launch their legal challenge. Something she may have anticipated.
If the Supreme Court upholds the High Court’s verdict on 7th December then the opponents of Brexit in the Commons and Lords will put in all kinds of amendments in the Bill to add all kinds of ifs and buts to our negotiations with the EU.
The direct method of leaving is for Parliament to vote on a Bill to Repeal the European Communities Act.  They will of course try to add all kinds of amendments to that too, but we might as well flush them out in the open now rather than wait another five months and the experience another two years or tortuous ‘negotiations’ with the EU.
If the Commons and the Lords try to impede the Repeal Bill then this will cause a constitutional crisis.  The only way to resolve that would be with a general election.  The MPs will then have to face the people.
If that is what it takes then let’s do it and stop faffing around!
You can read my short pamphlet on how we can leave the European Union quickly but going to this link
