William Dartmouth Throws Down Gauntlet
« on: February 06, 2017, 06:53:45 PM »
Dear Members & Supporters,

Attached is the latest bulletin from UKIP SW Region.

Three items to draw your attention to in particular:

1.  There is a UKIP SW coach going up to Stoke on Trent for the by-election, on 18th Feb returning on the 19th. Unfortunately the nearest pick-up point is Bath, but if I hear of anything from nearer home I'll let you know,
2.  There is a petition going round in support of a state visit by President Trump; details are attached,
3.  Don't forget your tickets for the UKIP Spring Conference at Weymouth (Pavilion Theatre) on Sat. 4th March !

Best Wishes,

John Butler
Chairman UKIP Mid-Dorset & North & North Poole

Article 50 Voted Through Westminster!
Through gritted teeth, 346 Remain MPs voted to pass Article 50 on Wednesday 2nd Feb. A constitutional crisis could be avoided in the short-term, if the House of Lords pass the bill in the same spirit. Said Labour MP Wes Streeting:"It is hard to overstate the damage that this parliament would inflict on our democracy were we to reject the outcome of the referendum.."

William Dartmouth Throws Down Gauntlet
After the behaviour of Labour MEP Sebastian Dance in the plenary, Wm Dartmouth has challenged him to a public debate. Said Wm: "There is only one side that has lied in this debate - it's not Nigel Farage. Labour MPs and MEPs have consistently lied about the UK's access to the Single Market on BREXIT. I am formally challenging Seb Dance to a public debate. Otherwise it is clear that he is only capable of making false accusations in block capitals."
