A City Stands Violated

A city stands violated
Its people, the gullible and the angry, impotent
Mothers and fathers, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandmas and
granddads, friends bereft
Out of the corners, the safe little nooks and crannies, the
messages start to be delivered
Hope not Hate, Brendan Cox, John Bercow, Andy Burnham and a
myriad more
“We will not be divided” “Love will conquer hate” “Nothing
to do with Islam”
A city stands violated, a nation seethes
A city stands violated
Its people, the fooled and the bravely awake, impotent
22 dead, 13 missing, 59 injured,
Out of their armoured cars and their protected houses
they come
Theresa May, Jeremy Corbyn, Tim Farron and a myriad more
“Our thoughts are with the families, we feel their pain we
will overcome”
A city stands violated, a nation cries out in frustration
A city stands violated
Its people, the bereaved and the lucky, impotent
Dismembered childrens lives ruined in a second
Out of the trains and the mobile studios the hyenas pour, the
blood scent in their nostrils
ITV anchors, ABBC political editors, scripted platitudes at
the ready
“Look at all the people, thousands lighting candles and
praying for love”
A city stands violated, a nation looks on in disbelief
A city stands violated
Its people, the smart and the stupid, impotent
Names and ages revealed bring further shock and pain
Out of the Facebooks and the twitters the righteous
indignation pours
Virtue signallers, Celebrities, Actors and a myriad more
“Love will overcome hate” “He wasn’t a Muslim, he was a
A city stands violated, a nation questions why
A city stands violated
Its people, polarised as never before, impotent
The true nature of the act comes to light, murder most
Out of the mosques and Madrassa they pour,
Imams, Scholars,
Teachers and community leaders
“This is not Islam” “We are not to blame” “We stand with
A city stands violated, a nation steels itself for more
A nation stands violated
Its people, herded and lied to, impotent
Politicians collude in the destruction of its spirit and its
Out of the houses and flats, off the buses and trains they
People, white and brown, old and young, male and female
“This is our land” “We did not ask for this” “We will take
no more”
A nation stands violated, its people finally roar.

This wonderful poem says it all really we are pent up with rage but remain impotent, what a pity it had to be written.

Colin, thanks. Heartbreaking. DD we may eventually be impotent, demographically, but before that happens we can try to put measures in place that will help those coming after us. The first of these is to ban Sharia and all practices that have no place in Britain.
We are impotent because we are afraid. Afraid of being called racist, Islamophobic, we are afraid of hurting people’s feelings, we are so fixated on not being called out on any of these things. I include myself in this, I think it is a battle one has to fight with oneself every day. Before we can tackle the Islamification of Britain we must fight and win this battle with ourselves.
People like Anne Marie and Tommy have won this battle, and lead the way. We must follow. But the nature of people being what it is, we all need Leaders. Anne Marie is a natural Leader. Will we be too afraid to hurt the feelings of our current Leaders post election and tell them to go, they aren’t fit for purpose. Before we can fight the real battle, we have to win the battle that will mean we can give people the democratic tool they are crying out for.

Be careful, you bombers. Remember the verse by Rudyard Kipling :
It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

And let’s remember the following verses in this, one of my favourite poems by Kipling:
They were not easily moved,
They were icy-willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the English began to hate.
Their voices were even and low,
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show,
When the English began to hate.
It was not preached to the crowd,
It was not taught by the State.
No man spoke it aloud,
When the English began to hate.
It was not suddenly bred,
It will not swiftly abate,
Through the chill years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the English began to hate.
