The EU carbon tax and the demise of British Steel

A £120m EU carbon tax bill sent to a company - British Steel - that is barely breaking even profit wise, and has no money to pay it, would kill it. It has done so. Another Chinese triumph over the EU's bureaucrats.

Did the EU kill off British Steel with a £120m carbon tax bill?
" The appointment [of liquidators] followed the apparent failure of British Steel's owners, Greybull Capital, to secure additional funding from the government after ministers previously granted a £120m loan to cover the cost of an EU carbon bill."

All because of the global warming myth.  That’s very clever in destroying business isn’t it !
