A member of the audience on BBC One’s Question Time show on Thursday night managed to pretty much DESTROY both the Tory MP rebels and the millions of people who are celebrating the amendment to the EU Withdrawal Bill by declaring ‘the British people are sovereign, and not Parliament.’
He made the point that every MP is only in place in the House of Commons because they are elected to be there by the British people that they supposedly represent.
Therefore, any talk of the Tory rebellion being a ‘victory for parliamentary sovereignty’ is pretty much worthless when you consider how they have gone against the overall wishes of the British people.
He pointed out that the box was marked as ‘Leave the European Union,’ and not ‘please continue to another question about choosing a soft or a hard Brexit.’
In other words, Leave really does mean Leave.
The people of the United Kingdom were asked a very simple question, and no matter what people may say the British people were perfectly clear in their minds that Brexit would mean a total detachment from the mechanisms of the European Union.
The cringeworthy ‘PLEASE REMAIN’ government booklet even said in black and white that leaving the European Union would involve leaving the single market, so don’t listen to the people who are screaming that we didn’t know what we would be voting for!
David Dimbleby finally ADMITS BBC Question Time audience has a pro-EU BIAS
Question Time host, David Dimbleby has revealed his shock at the number of Remainers in the Question Time audience on this weeks show.
Picking several people from the audience to give their views, they all revealed they voted to remain, and the panel also had a heavy Remoaner bias, a ratio of four to one.
Mr Dimbleby shouted out “there are a lot of Remainers here tonight” in an attempt to make light of the blatant bias.
The Question Time audience has long suffered from bias implemented by the BBC in our opinion.
It’s almost always against Brexit and for Labour.
Does this really surprise you though?
The BBC has before been accused of being bias in which they released a statement to counter the claims.
In a statement, the corporation said: “The BBC commissioned polling company ComRes to recruit an audience that is representative of the country demographically and politically.
“They have lots of experience doing this. This covered age; gender; ethnicity; socio-economic; party politics; how they voted in EU referendum; and some undecided.”
Emily Thornberry humiliated by Question Time audience after she FAILS to answer this simple question
Labours Emily Thornberry appeared to struggle to answer a simple question asked by a Question Time audience member last night.
A member of the Newcastle audience said: “I’d like to hear an example of a country where Corbyn and McDonnell’s economic ideas have worked.”
We all know the answer to this, it’s zero.
Their policies do not work and are dangerous. However, this is what she had to say.
Mrs Thornberry said: “I would suggest that actually, the Labour party is a social democratic party, pretty much from the centre of Europe.”
Continuing to ramble before the host interrupted her she added: “And if you look at European economic policies throughout, which are successful policies, where they invest in their infrastructure, where they invest in safety nets…”
Is it really that difficult to name a single country?
Politicians these days love to ramble on but never really say anything with any substance.
This is a perfect example.
In the General Election earlier this year the socialist promised a hike on income tax.
Labour has also announced they are considering increasing council tax for eight million families, with some facing a 100 percent rise.
